So when I got this yummy kit, I stared at it for a few days, I looked at all the yellow and got really scared..why? I don't know? Yellow is my favorite color.....but I felt overwhelmed!!! So after my ultimate staredown with this kit.....I put it to the blade and just started going - there are sooooooo many fun borders and elements of Spring in this kit it is unbelievable!!!!! All the fun accents and trim pieces, they all go so well together!
I grabbed old photos of DH and pictures of the boys, pictures with friends - because even though Bad Girls sets off the girly, pink, fun vibe - it is still a versatile kit every month!!! So don't be scared...for very long =)
So what cartoons do your kids love..always a new one right? At one point in time Rollie Polie Ollie was top dog, according to my boys!! I just don't want to forget! Eek, the colors are just too fun!
Okay the wide silky Ribbon in the kit is so yummy and even yummier as a flower!!! gosh, I didn't realize how Pink this LO really is!!! Yay for Pink! and polka dot thickers!!!!!
the challenge this month was an awesome retro Ad that had these cool peeps dancing on this record - check out the message board when the kits ship - to see the same challenge that Wendy extends to the members to win a fabulous Bad Girl Bag!!! very similiar to the Apron I am wearing in my blog header!! Anywho...here is my interpretation of the Ad..I drew on the 3-d ness of it all, and used the big butterfly from the hambly sheet as my guide for playing amongst all things spring!!!
this here photo(LOL) is my honey..when we were dating, you can see me in the background! the photo was buried in the bottom of my big-ass photo box and I just had to resurrect it and frame it with fun embellishments because this photo made me smile!!
oh, and I have finally had a chance to look at my pictures from Costa Rica - so stayed tuned cause I promise I will show you that I surfed!!!!
