Okay this is gonna be a Quickie post. After this I am officially on vacation for the next week......I'm going to become a real surfer girl!

So the #1 favorite this week - oh yeah...I love Roxy...hopefully I get a few photos of me like this..hah, ha, ya right!!!



#2 - DH...well he actually is a surfer and I really actually might get a photo of him like this...DH is definitely my Quicksilver man!! and Kelly isn't bad either :P





#3 - okay this layout is YEARS old but it was the quickest I could find of my parents!! My Dad and Mom pretty much rawk all things Grandparents and actually asked me and hubby to go away this year so they could come and watch the kids - they are THE BEST!!!!

#4 - this piece of paper...right here...and I am not saying where I saw it - but it is DREAMY!!!!!!

Hooray for February - the short month!!! I can't believe the reveal at Bad Girls is already upon us again! And my first month on the design team. I absolutely love the March kit - it is so FAB!!!! Head on over to the message board on Saturday night - Big VIP party for the reveal! I won't be stingy with my peeks either......I'm thinking this says a lot, don't you???

okay I can't believe it's Friday already!! since last week I had some male eye candy up here, I figure this week - I will actually give a little face time to at least 1 cool chick or 2!!!


1. These are kinda pricey at a $1.69 per bar but WOW, they make for a yummy little dessert or sweet after dinner! I only need 1/3 of the bar and am totally satisfied!! Although I pay almost $1 for a big apple or pear..so go figure! Lara bars are made completely of dates - for the sticky sweet, a nut - for the crunch and bind, and usually a fruit for the flavor! This is a great invention as far as I'm concerned and this summer I will be lovin making my own!

2. This chick cracks me up - Jillian, the biggest loser trainer! I've been watching season 4 while on the elliptical....love it!!! My hubby says every week....we are so alike! If I was on reality tv..yikes that would be me! stubborn, hate whiners, super competitive, can't do stupid and excuses.....um funny and sarcastic - I don't know why I love her! why do people like me????

3. So for 1 week....and 1 week only - I am gonna be a Red Wings fan! the fine people at Michigan CAT..cause we buy so much farm equipment...gave us tickets to tonight's Hockey Game in Detroit - Wings versus the ducks - these are corner glass 4th row - SWEET tickets, so I will indulge...cause I love me a sporting event - even though I am not that big on hockey!!!!!!! but the pictures will make it worth the drive!

4. Family is cool...my boys are funny!!! nabbed this picture a few months back off the internet - the local newspaper ran this photo..I came across it again this week! my favorite photo of the week!! the picture is my Neices' Volleyball team, they won the state championship and we were at the game cheering them on! so the news sets them all up for this team photo...but do you see the background...the hoodlums in the seats - yes those are my boys and their cousin....that is my Willem on the far left..with the popcorn container on his head...LOVE THIS!

5. last but not least....this chick.....whoever she is.....is surfing the break..where I will be soon...I am hoping to somewhat resemble this..good luck to me.....at least I have the cool Rash guard and bikini bottoms...if nothing else!!!

Story of a Bad Girl.......

There once was this cool chickee.....her username under the Willow Tree was French Scrapper. She popped into the willow world of scrapbooking back in the summer of 2005. She was truly the life of the party - fun, sweet, chic, so scrappy talented and So BAD!!!!! There was something about her layouts that just screamed Artist!!!! She was truly an inspiration in her scrapping and on a personal level she was such an awesome woman, wife and mom!!!

Back in July 2007 French scrapper...AKA Wendy Rago decided to "go big or go home" with her Bad Girl dream and this chatty girl....with a username ginadj.....believed in her dream!!! The dream was shabby and romantic and magical and without bounderies!! It was more than photos........it was moments and memories and the art that wrapped around them!!!!

ginadj......an "average scrapper" wanting to grow - became a member of Wendy's kit club and joined her Message Board. Woohoo for member #4 !! But ginadj was still lost somewhere between keeping up with photos and no real reason for scrapping..well except to use up the scrap stuff she was buying!!!!

Wendy and her team of state of the art designers taught, challenged, cheered, and showed the Bad Girl world the most amazing sides to this craft!!! and somewhere along the way ginadj grew, she put her heart and soul behind her photos......and she soooooo enjoyed playing with product and making it part of her family story!!!

NOW.....the ultimate in this little tale is me.....Gina.....is now A BAD GIRL DESIGNER!!!!!!!!! and it could not get any better because I have always believed in this company and all the things that Wendy sets out to do....for us - girls, moms, teens, shoppers, hoarders, bling junkies, oh and scrapbookers!!!!

friday fives again.......

#1 - bare with me here...I LOVE SOCCER and this is where I play..last night I scored with my left foot over my head...it was freakin awesome!!!!!

#2 - Matt Giraud!!!Finally someone on American Idol from our area - woohoo!! um, at least I think...I still haven't watched what's on the DVR yet and I just could not get into the early rounds this year - it was painful!!!!! but the guy on the radio said he was in....

#5 and speaking of hotties, came across this photo on my hard drive, it is one of my favorites of DH. He looks so young in this photo....It was 9 years ago...but still!!!! He definitely makes my heart go pitter patter

Top Designer at Bad Girls!!!!

Okay, okay, I know this was a long time ago - but this was the last time I scrapped - back in September/October of 2008! So I am really wanting to get the scrap mojo back...so my first step is gonna be to put this stuff up here in my face on the blog!!!! these were some of my favorite Lo's - big thanks to Wendy and the team at Bad girls kits for challenging me to step out of the box and really create!!!!! I was so excited to make it further than last year!!!

Week 1 - Layering.....I love to layer - this was a gorgeous photo from my cousin's wedding, where I was a bridesmaid!!!



Week 2 was mixing patterns - super fun too!!! This was my Willem as a baby..sniff..sniff..I can't believe he is 5 now!!!!





Week 3 was less is more, and it is tough to not embellish...but still loved it!!!! My Aaron and Willem, with Bella my Cousin's little girl - flower girl and ring bearers in the wedding!!!



Week 4 was accessorizing - this was super fun making the little beach "scene" complete with real shells!



Week 5 was Color - I got to be the "wild card" so my indentity was hidden and I couldn't feature anyone in my LO that would give me away - this is my Niece Ella - I love this photo of her!!!
