Do you ever have a set of photos that just give you the evil eye and beg to be scrapped..but you can't because you just don't feel like scrapping them!!!! I find this a common theme when I go to scrap my vacation photos!!!! argh!!!! My husband has a large family - 7 kids, all married with 4 or 5 kids - that equates to
* 1 set of parents
* 7 couples
* 31 children
and since we all live spread out across the USA when we get together it is a big deal and there are lots of pictures that get taken!!!! But they are always a big mish mash of memories - and trying to take those photos and put into words the memories is sometimes really hard! Yet - I really really desire for the vacation story to be told!!!!
So I am finally, after 3 years - getting after them! This is a summer vacation from 2006!! Off we go>>>>>>hopefully I keep after it - I would like this to be a complete album - SOON! The family is begging!
We had condo's on the beach in Oceanside, CA - they were awesome!!!
Everyday we set up camp here.......
the kids....LOVED....the water and waves!!!

Love those LO's! They are awesome!!
Gorgeous LOs. I especially love the ruffled (I forget the word) paper on the 2nd LO. Very pretty.
My two least favorite things to scrapbook are christmas and birthdays - they always give me the evil eye too.
i love how the pages tell the story! they are so pretty Gina!
31 children.....omg...THUD! But look at the view of Oceanside...makes me have sweet memories of Southern California. Great layouts!
Those pages look great Gina!!! And don't feel bad, I am currently working on an album about a vacation from 2003! :P
Go Gina! What a wonderful event to scrap and you have a great start - I will be coming back to see more!!
Those layouts are great. I know what you mean - some photos are hard to scrap because you want the layouts to be fabulous. I feel the same way about birthday parties.
just awesome layouts. plus i am super partial to those vacation photos. i use to live in san diego and those photos are just great. for your own personal challenge, you met it well to get those pictures down on paper as well as journaling. good for you. well done.
Here I will make you feel better...still working on my second son's album. He is three and I am just getting started. I think he is actually giving me the evil eye each day. It's like he knows. Poor kid.
I think you did a great job with each layout. The first one though is my fave!
