Okay, I am pulling a Dena, LOL! I'm late for the faves! I pretty much floated through this week trying to put the house back together.....so I really don't even remember this week!!! I am just so glad it's saturday!!!!!
#1 - Hobby Lobby! Okay I know the sadness...not everyone has one of these by them...sorry! But I hadn't graced the doorway of HL for some time, I happened to be in the area.....I got sucked in! They were super clearancing out their housewares - TONS of stuff 80% off. I picked up at least 5 things to alter, LOL! things that were $3 and $4 dollars!!! big score at the HL!!!
#2 - Earth friendly products - Ultra Ecos Laundry detergent for front loaders! I have been using this stuff for the last 6 months and WOW, I really love it - it works great and is free and clear of all those toxic things like phosphates, formaldehyde and Sodium laurel sulfates. the ingredients are right on the bottle...when was the last time you saw ingredients on cleaning supplies???
#3 - Aubrey Organics Sunscreen!!! This will be the first summer since my whole Sunscreen ingredient awareness. awhile back, I was reading an article about Oxybenzone which was an ingedient in the coppertone sunscreen I used. Reading the wikipedia definition(the link) really turned me off to all the major sunscreens on the market and trying to stay clear of the major ingredients in sunscreen that may actually be leading to skin cancer.
Over the winter I researched it a bit more and found this line of Aubrey Organics sunscreen to meet my needs ingredients wise.....but it wasn't until last week on my trip to Costa Rica was I able to put it to use! And let me tell you, this sunscreen was FABULOUS, it totally worked great, I never burned at all and that is saying a ton coming from these whities up in Michigan! And I got the nicest tan!!! So I am singing the praises!!!!!!!
#4 - California Naval Oranges...I have rekindled my Love!!!!! I really haven't eaten many oranges since moving to michgan 13 years ago. But lately I have been able to find the big juicy California Navals and I am happy!!!!
#5 - Cucina dish soap!!!! oh man this stuff RAWKS!!!!! No more Dawn for me!!!!! You ever try and clean a plastic container...with milk in it and no matter how much you wash the plastic it just still smells bad??? well no more!!!!!

LOVE reading your 5's - always good ones! I use a great soap too - Charlie's. All natural. It's AMAZING and my clothes have never been cleaner and fresher!
I'm interested in checking out that sunscreen...need to find something for the kids too! Is the one you used safe for them too?
Sarah, yes the sunscreen is safe for over 6 months old! Sorry I am late in getting back to you...not that it's tanning season, yet!!!! LOL!
